I made a new blog, specifically for gaming, its called nxtpuny's gaming, so if your a gamer, go ahead and follow my blog there. And for jojoguy10, this is the last post about games, so now it will be back to robots. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I'm going to be moving, and my NXT robot is packed away all nice and safe, so sorry for not posting. Not many updates here except to wait until I move to continue my robot project, and the updates I am talking about is for youtube, It is possible that I may make gameplays of games, if you read my channel, of Portal. New Robot

This robot is called the Triclo-tank, its a wierd name for a robot, but its the best I have made up. this is my latest robot project, what this robot is supposed to do is drive until the touch sensor senses an object, when it does, it will make the robot turn. Meanwhile, the robot would use the sensor (the black one on the same side of the launcher) would be used in defense of itself, basically, if it sees an object around 10 CM, it will shoot one ball out of its launcher. Its rather simple, but it has a VERY complicated system. You can go here to see the rest of the robot pictures.

sadly though, I had to take apart the EFORSB, I didn't and still don't know how to program the new sensor, so I had to take it apart to make an even smaller robot for less hassle; and the EFORSB was a little to bulky.

For updates, I have a few things to say. My sensor has arrived, so I'll be adding it to my EFORSB soon and take pictures, make a movie, and add it to the NXTLOG. Unfortunately, Im not able to upload my brutal sumo video, can someone please email me music that youtube would find acceptable.

EFORSB v2 programming Sneak peak

You all noticed that I have RobotC now, and I actually have alot of programs for the EFORSB v2.

RobotC review

Hello there followers, as if yesterday, I own robotC now, and its really cool. It teaches you how to program in C code. I got it because Im wanting to work with robots, and using RobotC, its a start of learning how to program more industrial robots. Personally however, its ALOT more easier than NXT-G, because in NXT-G, you can make 3 motors move forward, but not have motor A move forward, motor B move forward at a slower speed than A & C, and motor C travels at the same speed as A, its a hassle. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to take part in electronic, computer, or electro-mechanical industry, because im going into the electro-mechanical industries.

New Set

I got a new set, Like the thunder driller, only a... different set so to speak. Im really getting more interested in Power miner stuff right now, so I got this set for $12 less when it was on sale, I thought that was a good deal. Anyways, I will use pieces of it for future Robot creations. Like its possible that I might make a bulldozer out of the hub-caps on it. If you ever see it online somewhere though, buy it, it is really neat, plus its a Special Edition set. Well enough about this post, I will still need to work on the movie, but its doing fine, may have to be muted though. So to finish this post out, see ya'll in the next post.

EFORSB v2 Update

Here it is, my newest robot... The EFORSB v2, the second version of the first one I made about a year ago.

This robot doesn't have a program yet, but it will have one unlike the first one. And you will see it on the NXTLog when I made the program. You may have noticed the new spot from the Mini Brutal Sumo v2. Here is the link to It's MOCPages:

It will be uploaded on the NXTLog as soon as I finish the RobotC program, right now im just evaluating RobotC, and just getting used to it.

Sorry it took so long, but... school and the internet was distracting me :/. anyways, here it is, the sumobot, you will see more on my NXTLog next week. And yes I made a program file, with a little help with a certain part, you'll see how on the NXTLog. My next project might be a tank or a lawn mower, what I mean by lawn mower is a robotic lawn mower I want to make sometime in the future, im just starting on it. Until then, see ya

New set

I recently got a new set, it is called the "Thunder Driller" from the Power Miners theme. It was Neat, but... It could have more pieces, and the plastic wheels may be useful in someway, they might make a good carpet patrol robot. Anyways, the set had a lot of unique parts, and Will be used for future robots. Plenty of pieces... though it can have more, I would recommend it to NXT-users as well as lego power miner fans, because this set was more technical than I thought it was. Now you know my opinion and the little on what this set has.

It took a while for my teacher to grade, but here it is. My camera doesn't have the best Quality as you can see, but here you can see how my part ended up, hope you like it. The robot is still in process, its another sumo bot I'll say that, but it might take a while for me to actually make a video and show you guys what it can do. The reason is, Our family found a house, and we may move soon, so I need to hold up with the NXT, but im working on it.

I never used this machine before, Until last year when I was taking shop orientation. Im using one in school right now... only its more basic, and easier, but its VERY cool. I made a project on a machine like this last year, it was an image of a scorpion in a transparent white material that looks really cool when shown to light. Anyways, I did a programming for my first project, and we'll get to the coordinates soon. I didn't get it there though "I'll keep you posted where I got it," but let me tell you my experience. It was a little scary, but not nearly as scary when I was trying to weld, but I actually did a very good job. I noticed that you have to keep the Iron on the joint for at least the count: 1, 2, 3, and then take it off, and you have a good joint. If you are doing it for the very first time like me, have a partner who knows how to do it, and it is actually more helpful than doing it by yourself. Now I have good soldering skills from a quick experience. See yall.

rack n' pinion car update

Here are the pictures, the picture below this text is the car, It is pretty cool. I don't know what the car is, but it looks like a MOC car if you ask me. Although the rack n' pinion system is what I like the best, you can see it from the picture below this one.

Well, the picture is above but it is the basic driving system, in the center with the black gear controls the steering. And two motors help make the car move. LDD is to complex for me, but if you want instructions, ask and I will try to make instructions.

I made a rack n' pinion car at the end of last friday, I programmed it and will be posted in a few hours, just wait about a day for it to be approved. It is a cool car, it has 3 servos and the steering system is complex except for the rack part, the pinion part is complex because................well, wait until it comes out on to my NXTLOG.

Forest-cutter tank update

This is one of my latest creations, the forest-cutter tank. I have information about it but you can see this on my NXTLOG.

What this tank has are one of those exo-force wheels, And 1 pack of tread links. The gearing system is simple yet hard to make sturdy. The gear ratio is the result for speed, which can be fast, I don't know the speed exactly, but it is fast. Now to go see my NXTLOG for other info.

Look at these two robots, They didn't win the contest called the summer olympics chllenge, but I was close. even though I didn't win, doesn't mean I probably won't win the next contest. I am a little upset, But I always say, If you baul because you didn't win something and there is another contest, it is always good to do your best, but if you still mope about the first contest, you will never succeed. Those of you NXTLOGers who entered the contest, and didn't win, don't mope, just remember to do your best in the next contest, you will find yourself much happier if you take this advice.

Snowcat update

I know it isn't winter yet, but I wanted to make a snowcat for quite a few weeks, And here is one. Its detailes are: has studed tread links, Huge MOC fenders, snowplow blade, front and back Lights, spare tread links, And has a good strong base. I never will try my lego creations on snow, But I do test them on my rouphest lego parts. Built right after the trial tank, This has shocks "which is optional." Trialtank update

All these pics Are part of My NXTLOG page but won't come up until sunday, Because it would not be moderated all weekend. This Has the grip it needs for it to go pretty much anywhere "Snow, Dirt, rocks, ect." Because of this tread link in picture 5. Reason why it has a wheel in back is the same reason as dragsters need catch wheels, Not that it goes fast, it just has difficulty when its climbing something.

Contest: I Want you to make a test trial tank "MINDSTORMS or Power functions are okay" It has to be a tank, It should be able to go up rocks, handle snow, dirt, Ect.

My most creative creations yet. I have made not a cube but a rectangular prizm "which is why it says P.R.I.Z.M ." This picture shows how It does not have the studed links "go see My trialtank to see what I mean." It also has a piece that Some people do not add, a transaxle, For it to go in any direction, make it sort of connect the other axle, And makes it more stylish. For those who are experts at putting a certain wire in a certain position, you do what you want because it won't flip in all directions. Go to my NXTLOG page To see more pics for it.
